Jerome McDonnell and Worldview are an example of excellence in journalism. His intelligence and enthusiasm, educate, inspire and excite the listeners awareness and interest. His guests whether from a far away country or an ethnic Chicago neighborhood represent divergence of thoughts, information and opinions. Without Jerome and Worldview, WBEZ may entertain but lose it’s present focus, and no longer educate, excite and inform: a terrible loss to the station, the listeners and the larger Chicago community will occur.
